START NEW PROJECT

Here we will showcase on how to start a new project in CADMATE Takeoff and specifying the destination to save the project file. Locate the folder destination and select the file type for calculations. Click on the following link to learn how to start new project.

OBJECT COUNT

Using CADMATE Takeoff, we will be able to take the quantity of the objects both automatically and manually from PDF, dwg, dxf & dwf files. Click on the following link to learn how

TEXT COUNT

Calculate the quantity of text automatically using Text Search option and the quantity calculated will be labelled and highlighted in the document for your reference. Click on

PERIMETER CALCULATION

Calculate the total length of the object manually & automatically. From the sketch type you will be able to measure the length of line & arc combination and circular objects. Click on the following link to learn how to use perimeter calculation.

LENGTH CALCULATION

Calculates the length of each segments using the the length calculation tool and export the results to excel. Click on the following link to learn how to use length calculation.

Calculate the surface area of a wall from the plan view by deducting the openings using the Linear Surface Area calculation with CADMATE Takeoff. Click on the following

Calculate the area of a Plan using the flexibility of both manual as well as automatic mode. Deduct the value if required from the measured area and export the results to excel. Click on

AREA CALCULATION ( Duct Area )

Calculate the duct area with different duct types, Rectangular, Circular and Elliptical. We can also calculate the duct area for single line drawings as well by enabling the linear duct option from the dialogue box. Click on the following link to learn how to use area calculation.

VOLUME CALCULATION

Calculate the volume directly from the plan by directly specifying the height using CADMATE Takeoff. Click on

OVERLAY

Using the overlay function we can compare the difference between two documents and the application will automatically highlights the objects included and deleted by comparing

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Export the calculations done in CADMATE Takeoff directly to excel using the Export xls option. In the output you have the total summary as well as the individual calculations of each parameter. Click on the following link to learn how to use export to excel.
